Job summary

PG&E in Oakland, CA, is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality professional for a hybrid role. You will lead audits, manage supplier performance, and drive governance across quality programs within the Energy Delivery business unit.

Responsibilities include developing robust supplier quality systems, performing risk-based oversight, and coordinating corrective actions. Travel up to 50% may be required to support audits and supplier reviews.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Industrial or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of auditing experience or related field.
• ASQ certification preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of working time.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, evaluates, and improves internal and supplier quality management systems, procedures, tools, and program documentation.
• Uses risk, supplier performance and product criticality to determine appropriate oversight.
• Leads supplier qualification reviews and audits; supports maturity assessments and readiness reviews.
• Establishes governance for supplier quality, audit, qualification, corrective action, and continuous improvement programs.
• Communicates results and improvements clearly to suppliers and management.
