Abbott is seeking a Senior Specialist Quality Assurance – Supplier Quality in Des Plaines, IL. This role supports the selection, approval, and maintenance of Abbott's suppliers by leading supplier quality audits and driving improvements across the TPM network.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in quality, with strong knowledge of GMPs and regulatory requirements (21 CFR 820, ISO 13485). ISO Lead Auditor certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years in quality or a related field.
• Knowledge of GMPs, 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485 and other regulatory standards.
• ISO Lead Auditor certification or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier quality system audits across supplier and TPM networks.
• Maintain and strengthen quality system effectiveness through regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train junior auditors and participate as SME on audits.
• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement with cross‑functional teams.
