Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) seeks a senior QA program leader to plan, manage, and technically oversee quality assurance across programs.

The role ensures compliance with customer, product, and regulatory standards, including ISO-9000, through defined policies and controls. Reporting to a senior manager, you will develop standards, perform statistical analyses, audit quality systems, and coordinate safety and environmental reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering or related technical field with 11+ years QA experience.
• Detailed knowledge of QA principles, ISO 9000, and leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel; ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and technically perform the QA program.
• Develop and implement QA standards, methods, and procedures.
• Design and analyze inspection and testing processes.
• Perform statistical analysis to assess costs and non-conforming products.
• Coordinate safety and environmental compliance reviews.
• Audit quality systems and drive corrective actions.
• Review engineering designs to ensure quality requirements.
• Support management in setting objectives for QA programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Other duties as assigned.
