Lucid Motors seeks a Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Interior Trim and Coverstock, to drive best-in-class product quality throughout development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to balance design innovation with robust manufacturing for optimal quality.

The role requires deep technical expertise in quality program management, experience in automotive interior components, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years in high-volume manufacturing or supplier quality within automotive.
• Strong APQP/PPAP project management experience.
• Experience with interior components and related processes (trims, coverstock, assemblies).
• Willingness to travel 25–75% domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex supply chains across Asia/Europe/Americas.
• Lead APQP to PPAP from design through mass production.
• Ensure DFM/A and quality expectations in interior design phases.
• Drive supplier engineering design change activities with tier suppliers.
• Collaborate with Studio, Design Engineering, Purchasing, and Plant SQEs for suspension components.
• Perform supplier assessments, audits, and implement process improvements.
• Document ISO9001 and AIAG/IATF16949 compliance.
• Analyze data to assess capability and meet build requirements.
• Travel as needed up to 75%.
