Qualifications

• Must have knowledge and experience in thin films such as PVD, CVD, and ALD.
• Experience coordinating with New Product Development teams and suppliers.
• Ability to perform supplier audits and drive continuous improvement.
• Cost planning and monitoring key cost drivers.

Responsibilities

• Work with NPD teams to ensure engineering drawings are clear and expectations communicated to suppliers.
• Participate in NPI to involve suppliers in specs to promote design for manufacturability.
• Lead supplier selection to build competitive quality, value, cost, delivery and technology.
• Perform supplier audits and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Evaluate technical requirements and recommend materials to Design Engineering for life-cycle improvements.
• Assist in cost planning and monitor key cost drivers for competitive advantage.
