Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Supplier Development to support fabrication of structural and mechanical components at supplier facilities. Some remote work is possible, but candidates must be located in the Austin / Round Rock, TX area.

The role reports to the Senior Manager of Global Supply Execution Excellence and emphasizes supplier oversight, development and quality assurance within a dynamic nuclear energy environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• 4+ years in engineering/manufacturing with practical shop experience.
• Experience with precision machining, welding, forming, and inspection.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications to ASME standards.
• Experience with PFMEAs, manufacturing and quality plans.
• Experience authoring technical documents and operating procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site and remote supplier oversight to meet Westinghouse requirements.
• Develop and implement supplier oversight plans and submittals.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Design Engineering, and Supplier Quality.
• Identify and escalate supplier issues and drive prompt resolutions.
• Monitor metrics such as On-Time Delivery and Quality issues.
• Lead supplier development and qualification for new products.
• Review and disposition process documents and CAPA.
