Join Honeywell Aerospace as a Senior Supplier Development Engineer and play a key leadership role in driving supplier performance, quality, and innovation. In this high-impact position, you'll lead supplier development initiatives, elevate operational excellence, and mentor a team while shaping a strong, diverse culture. You'll collaborate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery, continuous improvement, and strategic alignment with business.

As a Senior Supplier Development Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our supplier performance, fostering innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality products and services.

You will report directly to our Director. Note: This role will support Clients in the West, Midwest or Northeast region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive supplier development strategy that aligns with the organization's goals, ensuring the enhancement of supplier performance and capabilities.
• Lead and provide mentorship to a team of supplier development engineers and professionals, ensuring their growth and the successful execution of supplier development projects.
• Establish and enforce supplier performance standards, conduct regular assessments, and collaborate with suppliers to identify areas of improvement, ensuring quality and reliability.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), is $96,000 - $120,000. For most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $96,000 - $120,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics or equivalent work experience
• 4 or more years of experience in supplier development, engineering, or a related leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of supplier development strategies, supplier relationship management, and quality control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
