Job summary

U.S. Army Medicine Civilian Corps is seeking a Supervisory Physician (Administration) at Fort Meade, MD. You will plan, direct, and supervise clinic activities, delivering comprehensive family medicine care to a broad patient population.

The role requires physician licensure in the US, MD or DO degree, and substantial administrative leadership experience. You will oversee staff, implement healthcare delivery improvements, and lead QA initiatives within the department.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from US/Canada with appropriate accreditation.
• Current, active medical license in a US jurisdiction.
• At least one year of supervised clinical training beyond graduate degree (internship/residency).
• GS-14 requires 4 years of graduate training or equivalent.
• Experience in supervising physicians, nurses, and support staff is expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise clinic operations and patient care workflows.
• Provide broad medical diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and referrals across Family Medicine.
• Supervise physicians, nurses, PAs, and support staff administratively and technically.
• Establish healthcare delivery templates and initiatives to improve quality.
• Ensure monthly QA reviews and policy improvements align with goals.
