Job summary

Caris MPI, Inc. is seeking a Reagent QC Specialist I - Molecular to ensure QC testing of incoming reagents, verify details, and maintain storage and QC paperwork.

The role includes performing molecular analyses such as NGS and DNA/RNA work in a regulated laboratory environment. The successful candidate will manage reagent queues, communicate issues across departments, and support QA in release of reagents for laboratory use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a regulated laboratory environment (CLIA/NYS/CAP/FDA/ISO).
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC testing of incoming reagents and document results.
• Review reagent information against specifications and receipts.
• Maintain reagent storage and quarantine as needed; escalate discrepancies.
• Conduct molecular assays including NGS, DNA/RNA extractions and quantification.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and QA to resolve delays and issues.
