Job summary

Rolls-Royce, located in Aiken, SC, is seeking a Senior Supervisor, Maintenance. This full-time role requires shifts/flexible hours with a Monday–Friday pattern. Relocation assistance is provided where applicable, and the position sits at Global Grade 10.

You will interpret policies, enforce safety, track attendance, coordinate trades, and oversee preventive maintenance using CMMS. A Bachelor's in engineering or related field or 5+ years supervisory experience is required, with strong leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, electrical, or civil engineering or a business major operations/facilities management related field and 5 years supervisory experience; or 9 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership skills
• High level of oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with computer applications and/or controlled systems.

Responsibilities

• Interprets corporate policies to workers and enforces safety regulations while complying with terms of contractual labor agreement.
• Maintains departmental attendance and overtime records.
• Keeps management abreast of progress, developments and pending problems.
• Coordinates activities of skilled tradesmen and schedules work with other departments
• Manages preventive maintenance programs/procedures and utilizes a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, electrical, or civil engineering or a business major operations/facilities management related field and 5 years supervisory experience; or 9 years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• Completion of recommended company-training programs.
• Knowledge of total productive maintenance principles.
• Knowledge of ISO/QS-9000 requirements.
• Familiarity with "Lean Manufacturing" principles
