What You'll Do
  • Direct and supervise all construction activities on assigned projects.

  • Communicate clearly with direct reports on performance expectations, and support their career path development by setting goals for scalable growth.

  • Maintain strong communication and relationships with contractors and suppliers to support the construction schedule.

  • Oversee and manage punch lists through project closeout.

  • Meet with AHJs and third-party inspectors to facilitate inspections and approvals.

  • Review subcontractor performance against scheduled deadlines to confirm manpower, equipment, and materials are sufficient to meet deliverables.

  • Lead the field team in promoting quality initiatives, setting expectations for inspections and observations, and ensuring quality and safety platforms are properly utilized.

  • Maintain job site cleanliness, organization, and curb appeal.

  • Assist in developing and updating the project PMP as required.

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and manage subcontractor scopes of work.

  • Participate in developing the baseline schedule and own the CPM schedule — managing, updating, and implementing it throughout the project.

  • Lead weekly coordination meetings, pre-install meetings, and schedule meetings that keep construction activities moving efficiently.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and professional email etiquette.

  • Minimum 7-10 years of construction experience, including 3-5 years in a supervisory role.

  • Experience with commercial, institutional, or industrial construction projects.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
