Job summary

Miller Davis, a Michigan construction company, seeks a Senior Project Superintendent to lead on-site activities from pre-construction through completion. You will manage project staff and serve as the primary field contact, coordinating with Owners, Architects, and Contractors to deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget.

The role requires 7–10 years of superintendent experience, a relevant college degree is helpful, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; OSHA 30, CPR, LEED

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of construction project superintendent experience.
• College degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related field is helpful.
• Technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred certifications: OSHA 30, CPR, LEED AP or LEED Green Associate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site management of construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Supervise Project Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Interns.
• Coordinate with Project Executives, Project Managers, Owners, Architects/Engineers, Contractors, and Suppliers.

The Senior Project Superintendent Position

The Senior Project Superintendent is responsible for the overall on-site management of construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This position supervises Project Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Interns while serving as the primary field contact for the project. The Senior Project Superintendent provides guidance and training to project staff, coordinates with Project Executives, Project Managers, Owners, Architects/Engineers, Contractors, Suppliers, and oversees jobsite operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality requirements.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Senior Project Superintendent Position

• Prior construction experience, including at least seven to ten years as a Project Superintendent.
• College degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related curriculum is helpful.
• Technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and practices.
• Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred certifications include OSHA 30, CPR, LEED Accredited Professional, or LEED Green Associate.
