Job summary

Foundry in Fort Lauderdale seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on a 35-story ground-up multifamily development. You will own on-site activities from groundworks to turnover, coordinating subcontractors, schedule, safety, quality and coordination with PMs and executives.

The role targets experienced high-rise construction leaders with a strong track record delivering large-scale multifamily or condominium projects in South Florida.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent on commercial high-rise projects.
• Proven ability to deliver ground-up, high-rise multifamily developments.
• Strong knowledge of structural concrete, MEP coordination.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors on large sites.
• South Florida construction experience is preferred.

• Lead and manage daily field operations on a 35-story ground-up multifamily project.
• Oversee subcontractors, field personnel and construction activities to maintain schedules.
• Coordinate structural concrete, vertical construction, building envelope, MEP installations and interior finishes.
• Work with Project Managers, PMEs and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and workmanship on site.
• Manage site logistics, inspections, scheduling and subcontractor coordination.
• Identify and resolve construction challenges to keep the project progressing.
• Oversee activities from groundworks through substantial completion and turnover.

Senior Superintendent – High-Rise Multifamily Construction

Base Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 per year plus bonus, vehicle allowance and benefits

The Opportunity

We are working with an established General Contractor in South Florida who is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on a major 35-story, ground-up multifamily development in Fort Lauderdale.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced high-rise construction professional to take ownership of a significant project, overseeing construction activities from the ground up through final completion.

We are particularly interested in speaking with Superintendents who have successfully delivered large-scale, ground-up multifamily, condominium, hospitality or high-rise residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily field operations on a 35-story ground-up multifamily construction project.
• Oversee subcontractors, field personnel and construction activities to maintain project schedules.
• Coordinate structural concrete, vertical construction, building envelope, MEP installations and interior finishes.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Project Executives and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and workmanship throughout construction.
• Manage site logistics, inspections, scheduling and subcontractor coordination.
• Identify and resolve construction challenges to keep the project progressing.
• Oversee construction activities from initial groundworks through substantial completion and turnover.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent or Lead Superintendent with a commercial General Contractor.
• Proven experience delivering ground-up, high-rise multifamily, condominium or similar vertical construction projects.
• Strong understanding of structural concrete, high-rise construction sequencing and MEP coordination.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors on large, complex construction sites.
• Ability to take ownership of field operations and drive projects through to completion.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• South Florida construction experience is highly desirable.

Compensation

Base Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 per year, dependent on experience and project background.
