Pay:

$27.00 - $38.00 per hour

Hours/Shifts/Travel:

Full-time, 35–50 hours/week. Typical shift: 8AM to 5PM, Monday-Friday. Overtime, night shifts, and weekends may be required. Travel up to 90% nationwide, with per diem, lodging, and transportation provided.

Skills/Requirements/Qualifications/Duties:

As a Senior SUE Field Technician, you will be trained in utility infrastructure investigation using surface geophysics and specialized tools including EM Pipe and Cable Locators, Ground Penetrating Radar, GPS, LIDAR, TDEM, etc. Candidates should have:

• At least 5 years of utility designating experience using EM locators
• At least 3 years managing field crews
• Teamwork and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of utility record interpretation and system design
• Proficiency with Windows, Apple, Android devices, and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record

This role involves working in diverse environments (85% field, 15% office) nationwide.

Environmental and physical requirements include:

• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Walk on varied terrain
• Work outdoors in all seasons
• Operate vehicles and power tools
• Use small hand tools and locate equipment
• Repetitive physical tasks
• Weekend/night work as needed

Office and computer requirements:

• Familiarity with MS Office suite
