Job summary

STV Incorporated in Texas is seeking a Senior Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) CAD Technician to join our Transportation & Infrastructure team. The role supports SUE, utility mapping, survey, and related projects with 2–5 years of CAD experience in a hybrid, Texas-based environment.

You will prepare CAD deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation, develop mapping from field data, and coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years CAD experience in SUE/utilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation/OpenRoads preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality CAD drawings for SUE, utility mapping, survey, and related projects.
• Develop utility/topographic mapping from field data, records, and project needs.
• Support office survey activities and drafting per STV standards.
• Perform utility records research and QA/QC reviews for deliverables.
• Prepare deliverables for SUE Quality Levels A–D and coordinate with teams.
