Job summary

Enverus, a leading energy SaaS company, is seeking a senior Subsurface Innovation team member focused on CCUS and geothermal. Based in our Calgary office with hybrid work, you will serve as a principal contributor to client inquiries and research direction in emerging subsurface technologies.

You'll coach associates and analysts, shape economic models, and collaborate with product to improve datasets and workflows. AI-enabled analysis is encouraged to raise quality and pace.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant industry or research experience in subsurface technologies.
• Undergraduate degree in geoscience, engineering, finance, accounting, mathematics, economics, environmental science, or public policy.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading others.
• demonstrated ability to build and defend economic models for skeptical investors.
• Comfort leading client and prospect calls and relationship-building.
• Advanced Excel; data tools and AI tools is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Coverage & expertise in Subsurface Innovation topics; tackle technical problems with confidence.
• Independent research delivery from economic model build through to published notes.
• Lead client calls, presenting Intelligence results and guiding discussions.
• Mentor associates and analysts on concepts, Prism workflows, and client delivery.
• Shape team research priorities and ensure datasets/workflows meet needs.
• Coordinate with product group to support the coverage area.
