Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of substation physical design experience.
• Experience with grounding studies, lightning protection analysis, and lighting studies.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and clients.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration in teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support delivery of substation physical design projects with technical excellence and on-time performance.
• Collaborate with internal engineering groups and external clients to meet project needs.
• Perform QA/QC reviews on substation design packages for accuracy and constructability.
• Read, design, and review essential substation drawings and layouts.
• Create and verify bills of materials for substation components.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and validate designs.
