Job summary

GFT Power Group in St. Louis is looking for a Sr. Substation Drafter to support utility class electrical substation projects. This hybrid role requires collaboration with senior staff to develop design skills and prepare plans and details to support engineering activities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the substation or power industry.
• Demonstrated interest in engineering through coursework or internships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans and details to support engineering activities.

Skills

Working knowledge of CADD software

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Strong written and verbal communication skills
