Job summary

Sargent Lundy is looking for a Substation Physical Designer for a hybrid position based in Elkridge, Maryland. The candidate will work within a team to design high and extra high voltage substations, preparing crucial drawings and incorporating vendor information into the designs. Ideal candidates will have at least 10 years of relevant experience along with proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation. Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of substation physical design experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of the computer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare substation general arrangement drawings.
• Interpret vendor information into design deliverables.
• Perform walkdowns at client facilities.
