Arup is seeking a Senior Substation Designer to deliver HV substation designs for power utilities, renewables, and data centers. You will lead design packages from concept to design completion, collaborating with engineers and other disciplines.
The role requires 6+ years of relevant experience, expertise in 15kV–345kV projects, and proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Inventor, and BIM software. Offices available in NY, NJ, DC, Boston, or Chicago.

We are seeking a Senior Substation Designer with technical experience in the design of HV substations for power utilities and for the interconnection of renewables and data centers. In this role you will support the delivery of substation design projects from the conceptual phase through design completion for electric utilities, contractors and developers.
This position can be worked out of ourNew York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Boston or Chicago offices.

The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in New York is $122,500 to $145,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of New York will differ.
