Job summary

Qualifications

• State licensure within 30 months of eligibility
• Experience meeting government and department standards

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical assessment, counseling, drug education, and case management for substance abuse clients.
• Supervises Counselor I’s as needed and coordinates services with treatment teams.
• Maintains records, completes forms, and prepares reports on progress and outcomes.
• Delivers individual and group counseling, including relapse prevention strategies.
• Assists with intake interviews and develops individualized treatment plans.
