Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Engineering Integration Manager in Lynnwood, WA to lead a cross‑functional team of engineers, technicians, logisticians, and production personnel in support of underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, and ISR solutions for defense missions.

This role provides senior technical leadership for a multidisciplinary team from concept through production, ensuring on‑time delivery and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field with at least 10 years of significant leadership experience.
• 10+ years of experience with subsea maritime systems or integrated electro‑mechanical systems.
• 5+ years of leading multidisciplinary teams from benchtop testing to product delivery.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and credibility to work with engineers, technicians, program leaders, and customers.
• Systems‑level understanding of complex products, including hardware, software, interfaces, tests, and supportability.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on technical leadership for production, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex maritime systems.
• Oversee production and field issues via root‑cause analysis and practical engineering solutions.
• Improve designs for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, and cost while preserving performance.
• Interact with customers with high‑touch communications to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Review and approve technical data packages, drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and docs for production.
• Coordinate with quality, supply chain, facilities, and suppliers to address material and logistics challenges.
• Ensure configuration management processes are established and followed throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide technical support for fielded systems to maintain reliability and mission readiness.
• Assemble and lead multidisciplinary teams across systems, mechanical, electrical, software, test, manufacturing, and logistics.
