Job summary

Transocean Ltd in Houston seeks a Sr Engineer, Subsea Engineering to provide senior engineering support for subsea and well-control equipment on floating rigs worldwide. This role focuses on BOP systems, control systems, risers, and related gear, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation.

You will lead technical governance, troubleshoot during downtime, participate in risk assessments, modify and verify engineering changes, and support newbuilds and upgrades.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level engineering degree required.
Minimum 5+ years in subsea or offshore engineering.
Strong knowledge of BOP systems and well-control equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide senior engineering support and technical assurance for BOP and subsea systems.
Lead risk assessments, MOC reviews, and technical documentation.
Support offshore operations, troubleshooting, and lifecycle improvements.
