Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manager, Subcontracts to lead the full acquisition lifecycle from proposal through award and execution. You will drive strategic supplier relationships, negotiate complex subcontracts and manage cost, schedule, and performance in a fast-paced defense environment.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain/subcontracts, FAR/DFARS compliance knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 30%. A US security clearance is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher with 9+ years of related experience, or 13 years in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• 5+ years of subcontracts experience.
• 2+ years of EVMS experience.
• 3+ years of experience with A&D.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and review the work of direct report(s) to maintain workflow and productivity.
• Demonstrate effective leadership while maintaining a team mentality in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide input on talent and performance management decisions for the team.
• Manage department and program budgets and explain variances in monthly performance.
• Navigate FAR/DFARS regulations and internal procedures for compliance.
• Generate spending plans, payment forecasts, and variance reports.
• Follow strategic direction set by Program and functional leadership.
• Travel up to 30%.
• Ability to obtain a US Security clearance.
