Lockheed Martin in Stratford, CT seeks a Senior Subcontract Program Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team and drive cost‑effective, high‑quality subcontract execution across aerospace programs.

You will develop sourcing and subcontract strategies, manage all phases from business case to proposals and closeout, and act as the primary liaison to subcontractors and the program management office, with up to 50% travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of demonstrated experience in Strategic Sourcing, Sourcing Transitions, Project Management, or Subcontract Program Management.
• Experience leading startup and transitions of aerospace and defense suppliers.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team that develops and executes sourcing and subcontract strategies.
• Serve as the primary liaison to subcontractors and the program-management office.
• Direct all phases of subcontract development from business-case initiation through requests for proposals, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, and program execution.
• Establish milestone objectives and manage performance against schedules and contractual specifications.
