Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is recruiting for a Buyer III in the Operations group, encompassing Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. The role focuses on procuring production materials, negotiating LTAs, and ensuring on-time delivery within budget while complying with FAR/ITAR regulations.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 4 years with a Master's), strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to work with ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 4 years in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related industry experience.
• Interprets and applies company policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards and U.S. government regulations, i.e., FAR, DFAR, ITAR/EAR.
• Strong analytical skills, data driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metrics; adept at scaling processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, implementation, negotiation, execution, and management of strategic agreements (LTAs).
• Own the procurement process from requisition creation through final payment of invoices.
• Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives within the supply chain department.
• Maintain compliant and accurate files and data records.
• Collaborate with ERP, MS Office, and Data Analytics tools to improve systems and processes.
