Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems seeks a mid‑career procurement professional to manage a buyer’s desk for frozen composite materials, supporting Rotary product centers. On-site presence in Stratford, CT is required up to a few days per week to back operations.

You will interface with internal customers and external suppliers, report status and performance metrics to program management, and collaborate with Program Management, Operations, Supplier Quality and Engineering to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years in Purchasing, Expediting or related Supply Chain discipline
• SAP or similar ERP experience required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Manage a buyer’s desk focused on purchase activities and on-time delivery of frozen composite raw materials for Rotary product centers
• Interface with internal customers & stakeholders and with external subcontractors & suppliers
• Report status and performance metrics to program management; ensure timely delivery and quality of services in support of milestones
• Engage with cross-functional teams (Program Management, Operations, Supplier Quality, Engineering) to achieve business objectives
