Job summary

Modern Subaru of Boone seeks an experienced Subaru Master Technician or Senior Technician to join our service department in Boone, NC. The role offers consistent workflow, strong support from a capable team, and a pathway to long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Subaru Master Technician certification preferred.
• Previous Subaru dealership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Subaru vehicles.
• Perform advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics.
• Diagnose engine, transmission, HVAC, suspension, steering, and other vehicle systems.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Follow Subaru factory repair procedures and diagnostic processes.
• Utilize Subaru diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Communicate repair recommendations with service advisors.
• Properly document repairs and diagnostic findings.
• Assist with mentoring and training less experienced technicians.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

The Opportunity

As a Subaru Master Technician / Senior Technician, you'll handle a variety of diagnostic and repair work while maintaining high standards for quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair Subaru vehicles

• Perform advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics

• Diagnose engine, transmission, HVAC, suspension, steering, and other vehicle systems

• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently

• Follow Subaru factory repair procedures and diagnostic processes
