Job summary

Generation Tux in Paramus, NJ seeks a Senior Style Consultant, In-Salon to lead our presence at a well-established wedding dress shop. You will guide clients through men’s formalwear rental journeys, from walk-ins to appointments, delivering expert style advice and connecting the Generation Tux digital experience with a high-touch in-store environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, sales acumen, and leadership as you mentor colleagues and coordinate looks for grooms and wedding parties

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets with upselling and cross-selling abilities.
• Experience in fashion or formalwear styling with an eye for detail and current trends.
• Ability to mentor and support junior team members with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for high-quality service.
• Comfort with using iOS technology, Google Suite, managing appointments, and basic inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist both walk-in and appointment-based customers with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Guide clients through style and fit selections for grooms, groomsmen, and wedding party members.
• Educate customers on Generation Tux offerings, including Free Swatches, Free Home Try-On, and the Wedding Party Management tool.
• Drive bookings through one-on-one consultations and confident upselling.
• Track leads, manage follow-ups, and support group coordination for larger events.
• Maintain in-store displays, marketing materials, and garment samples; foster collaboration with salon staff.
