Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Program Manager responsible for strategic operational planning and execution of one or more clinical trials.

This role leads a Clinical Trial Team, guides study planning, governance, and stakeholder collaboration across global teams, vendors, and country partners. You will build capabilities in the team through coaching and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years in pharma/clinical drug development or related
• Master's degree with 6+ years in pharma/clinical drug development or related
• PhD/PharmD with 2+ years in pharma/clinical drug development or related

Responsibilities

• Lead operational planning, feasibility, execution and conduct of clinical trials
• Serve as the Clinical Trial Team lead
• Guide study planning, governance, and risk mitigation activities
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders across functions and regions
• Mentor junior team members and manage resources and performance
