Job summary

The Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership (SEZP) in Springfield, MA seeks a Student Support Senior Analyst to advance equity and student achievement through structured, caring school culture and targeted supports.

You will lead efforts to build strong relationships with students and families, support teachers, manage referrals, and participate on attendance teams, guiding interventions for behavior and achievement. This is a full‑time role with opportunities to shape SEZP's work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Strong commitment to equity and anti-racism in schools.
• Experience advising in higher education or with high school students preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with students and families.
• Support student accountability for conduct in the middle school.
• Be a model for high expectations through coaching feedback to students.
• Provide proactive, daily support to teachers in classrooms and throughout the school.
• Manage student referrals to the office.
• Support intervention plans and accommodations for students with behavioral difficulties.
• Participate on a school attendance team, including calls to families, home visits, and mentoring groups.
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students.
• Manage hallway coverage as needed.
