Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, SolidWorks, AutoCAD and/or CATIA.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Business and General Aviation aircraft modifications and/or related business and/or engineering experience.
• Previous experience working with the FAA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes engineering decisions by analyzing problems using FAA regulations and guidance and applying advanced mathematical concepts.
• Provides complete and accurate engineering data (drawings, tests, analyses, reports, bills of material) to meet regulatory and project timelines.
• Reviews service plans and proposals for engineering requirements and communicates discrepancies to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Designs and approves avionics installations and interior assemblies, applying manufacturability principles and FAA requirements.
• Provides technical assistance to sales, project managers and shop teams to support projects and process improvements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
