Job summary

Nassau Financial Group, based in Hartford, CT, seeks a Senior Associate to analyze and underwrite middle‑market CLOs, private credit, and other structured securities. You will supervise portfolio performance, monitor credit quality, and support risk management within a hybrid work model in New York area.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with a background in structured finance and a CFA considered a plus. Competitive base salary and incentives accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Experience with structured securities, CLOs, private credit or ABS.
• Ability to articulate buy/sell recommendations with documentation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance/economics/business; CFA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and underwriting of new investments in structured securities.
• Monitor existing investments to detect credit quality changes and minimize losses.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management to ensure commitments meet guidelines.
• Assist in managing troubled assets and recommend sales to reduce losses.
• Present transactions to Investment Review Committee for approval.
• Support hedging activities as needed.
• Coordinate with legal to document commitments and maintenance documents.
• Meet internal and external reporting requirements.
