Job summary

JGM is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead planning and execution of complex industrial construction projects with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. You will coordinate with clients, Project Managers, and the Field Operations Manager to ensure project strategy and specifications are clearly understood and implemented.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial construction, steel erection, piping, equipment setting or maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience managing teams up to 50 across multiple crafts.
• Proven ability to interpret blueprints, drawings and technical documents.
• Expertise in ironworking, rigging, piping or millwrighting.
• Strong leadership, communication and adaptability with a results-driven mindset.
• OSHA 30 certification is required upon hiring.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Experience in industrial construction with light fabrication/mechanical work a plus.

Responsibilities

• Continuously plan and oversee work to ensure safe, high‑quality results on time and within budget.
• Supervise construction to meet budget, schedule and specification requirements, tracking progress.
• Interface with clients and operations team to coordinate project details and safety requirements.
• Delegate tasks and provide ongoing training for future foremen and superintendents.
• Manage multiple craft foremen and ensure effective team collaboration and project success.
• Read and interpret blueprint drawings and specifications accurately.
• Plan manpower, maintain a skilled network, and assist in hiring to meet project demands.
