Job summary

Rebellion Fabrication, a structural and architectural steel fabricator based near Omaha, invites an experienced estimator to join our team. You’ll shape bids from concept to proposal, collaborating with PMs, detailers, vendors, erectors, and GC partners to produce complete, accurate estimates and profitable outcomes.

We value builders who ask the right questions, own risk, and push for clarity when drawings are incomplete.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years estimating structural steel, miscellaneous metals, or commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of structural, architectural, and civil drawings.
• Experience with conceptual, negotiated, and hard-bid estimating.
• Experience with Tekla PowerFab, FabSuite, FabTrol, or similar fabrication software is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Construction Management or related degree preferred—but proven experience matters more than a diploma.

Responsibilities

• Estimate complex structural steel and miscellaneous metals from concept through proposal.
• Develop buyout pricing and execution strategies with contractors, engineers, architects, and suppliers.
• Ask clarifying questions and define scope when bid documents are unclear.
• Support design-build, negotiated, conceptual, and hard-bid opportunities while balancing multiple pursuits.
