Job summary

Versique is recruiting for a Structural Engineering Project Manager to apply advanced engineering principles across a broad range of building projects. The role mentors junior engineers and serves as primary client contact across multiple clients.

The Project Manager reports to the Department Manager in Appleton, WI, with hybrid work options in Appleton or Wauwatosa. This senior-to-mid level position can be filled as Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager, or Senior Project

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• 4-15 years of engineering experience, with commercial or industrial building exposure.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple office locations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates multiple projects or large projects with moderate complexity, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Develops project plans, scope, and criteria, and oversees execution by project teams.
• Performs construction administration activities and supports project delivery through all phases.
• Maintains client relationships and supports business development efforts, including networking and use of CRM/tools.
• Prepares fee proposals and supports pursuit efforts with Department Manager guidance.
• Supports development of junior engineers and designers through day-to-day guidance and training.
• Monitors project financial performance, including budget tracking and coordination on receivables.
• Conducts existing condition evaluations and prepares technical reports.
• Ensures compliance with design safety standards and company expectations.
