Job summary

ECS seeks a Structural Associate Principal to join our Mid-Atlantic Building Science & Infrastructure team in Baltimore, MD. You will manage structural consulting projects, serve as lead technical consultant on investigations, testing, and design, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical engineering solutions.

Responsibilities include project oversight, budgets, staffing, and staff mentoring, with opportunities for business development and client relationship

Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters in Civil Engineering (Structural) with PE license.
8+ years in structural consulting, including assessment and design.
Experience leading teams and client-facing projects.

Responsibilities

Manage structural consulting projects and lead investigations, testing, and design.
Oversee field investigations and testing (anchor bolts, GPR, coring, etc.).
Lead design repairs and act as Engineer of Record as applicable.
Mentor junior staff and support business development.
Communicate with owners, architects, contractors, and engineers.
