Bartlett & West is seeking a structural engineer to design and oversee civil/structural projects in the Overland Park area. You will work with project managers on scope, pricing, and execution across commercial and regional infrastructure assignments.

The role emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and applied knowledge of code requirements, with opportunities for professional licensure and advancement within a 100% employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural or structural engineering or related field.
• Professional licensure (EI/T) preferred; PE preferred where required by state.
• 4–8 years of structural engineering experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Performs structural analysis and designs for buildings and other structures.
• Develops plans, calculations, and specifications for projects.
• Leads coordination with project managers and other disciplines.
• Prepares design documentation, feasibility studies, and site investigations.
• Oversees quality control and project delivery timelines.
• Mentors junior staff and supports business development activities.
