Thornton Tomasetti, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Engineer - Structure in Philadelphia, PA to lead structural design and project execution from concept through construction.
You will coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers, develop drawings with BIM tools, review submittals, and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality and schedule adherence on complex projects. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Requires a Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in a related occupation. Requires 2 years of experience with the following: Utilizing structural analysis software; Working with spreadsheet or MathCAD style calculation tools/software; Working with Bluebeam to create markups on structural drawings; Utilizing Revit 3D BIM software, including developing drawings and details for schematic design, design development and construction document phases of projects; Utilizing technical writing to prepare structural engineering memoranda and reports related to technical work and expertise; Performing structural analysis and design of steel and reinforced concrete structures; Preparing structural calculations and plans for schematic design, design development and construction documents; and Preparing structural calculations and plans for schematic design, design development and construction documents. 5% domestic travel required. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
40 hours/week. Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
