Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. seeks a Sr. Structural Licensed Engineer (PE) in Florida to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

The role requires a Florida-licensed PE with at least 15 years of municipal water/wastewater design experience and strong knowledge of Florida Building Code and ASCE/ACI/AISC/TMS standards. You will perform calculations, develop drawings, prepare memos and cost estimates, and participate in construction administration.

Qualifications

• BSCE and Masters of Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Florida.
• 15+ years of municipal water/wastewater design experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Florida Building Code and ASCE/ACI/AISC/TMS standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and develop drawings and specifications for structural analysis and design of foundations, framing, and enclosures.
• Prepare technical memorandums, reports, and probable construction cost estimates.
• Participate in construction administration reviews and conduct site visits as needed.
• Collaborate within a project team and coordinate with other engineers and discipline leads.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects independently within time and budget constraints.
