Multiple openings across four worksites, including three in Corpus Christi and one in Louisiana, with pay of $30.00-$35.00 per hour based on experience. The role requires blueprints interpretation, layout and assembly of structural steel components, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards on busy job sites.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structural Fitter in industrial/construction environments.
Ability to read and interpret structural blueprints, fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and measurements.
Experience fitting and assembling structural steel components.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, welding symbols, and project specifications.
Lay out, measure, mark, cut, fit, and assemble structural steel components according to specifications.
Align and position structural members for welding and final installation.
Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments and layout tools.
Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, torches, and other fitting equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect assemblies to ensure accuracy, proper fit, and compliance with project requirements.
Work closely with welders, supervisors, and other crew members to complete projects on schedule.
Follow all company and job site safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or project delays to supervisors promptly.
