Job summary

Tindall Corporation, a leading precast concrete manufacturer with locations across the Southeastern U.S., seeks an Engineering Manager. You will plan, organize, and manage the Engineering and Quality Control departments, ensuring technical integrity of designs and systems and guiding staff through complex projects.

Responsibilities include delegating work, coordinating with design/construction teams, reviewing calculations, and developing department budgets.

Qualifications

• Requires PE licensure and a BS in engineering (civil/structural) or MS in engineering.
• 10+ years of related experience in concrete/structural engineering.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience; strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering and Quality Control departments and ensure technical integrity of designs.
• Delegate projects, monitor performance, and adjust staffing as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and architects on project requirements and schedules.
• Review calculations/drawings for conformance with codes and company standards; affix seal where required.
• Develop department budgets and monitor revenue and costs; manage invoices and billings.
• Support professional development and performance evaluations within the team.
