Job summary

RCM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to join the Outside Plant Engineering & Design Group within the Electric T&D Projects & Construction line in New Jersey. You will lead complex civil/structural design and analysis, coordinate with project teams, produce construction drawings and calculations, and provide field support.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, a B.S. in Structural/Civil Engineering, and a New Jersey P.E.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex civil / structural calculations and analysis.
• Prepare construction drawings, including steel, aluminum, concrete structures and foundations.
• Design and detail steel transmission structures, including lattice steel towers and tubular steel poles.

Skills

Verbal and written communication

Driving with valid U.S. license

AutoCAD / MicroStation experience

Microsoft Office proficiency

Strong problem solving

Education

B.S. Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering

NJ Professional Engineer (P.E.) License
