The ideal candidate has a Master’s or Doctorate in Civil Engineering, 12+ years of experience, including 5 years in timber engineering, and is adept at managing client relationships. Responsibilities include mentoring, overseeing projects, and conducting field reviews. Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as a structural engineer, including 5 years in timber engineering.
• Experience with seismic design in Canada/USA is an asset.
• PE, P.Eng., or MIStructE, SE certification is an asset.
• Familiarity with building codes in Canada, the USA, or Europe.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple teams of project engineers on structural solutions.
• Manage quality control with assembly and fabrication teams.
• Conduct field reviews and collaborate with installation teams.
• Provide engineering reports and structural advice to clients.
• Facilitate solutions to design challenges in client meetings.
