Job summary
Industrial Design LLC (Arizona) is seeking a licensed Senior Structural Engineer to lead the structural scope on semiconductor projects and related manufacturing, cleanroom, industrial, and commercial work. You will guide designs from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
The role requires a PE license, 5+ years of structural design experience, and proficiency with RISA, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Revu.
Qualifications
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 5+ years of experience in structural design, preferably semiconductor or industrial.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the structural engineering scope of projects, ensuring code compliance and technical accuracy.
- Develop structural designs and construction documents for concrete, steel, and masonry structures.
- Perform detailed load calculations, structural analysis, and design of building components.
- Review and stamp drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with in-house architectural, mechanical, and electrical teams for cohesive design solutions.
- Attend design reviews and contribute to issue resolution.
- Maintain knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC standards.
