Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager to lead our structural team across New England, overseeing diverse clients from municipal to federal. The role may be based in Boston, Worcester, Portland, Augusta, or Rocky Hill, CT, and requires strong delivery, design, and client communication skills.

You will manage concept design, calculations, drawings, estimates, and construction administration, guiding projects from initiation through closeout with a cross-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; master's degree in structural/civil engineering strongly desired.
• Licensed PE in Massachusetts; additional licensing in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine preferred.
• 6–7 years of related experience; 3–4 years project-related experience and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations required.
• 1–2 years coordination/supervisory experience preferred.
• Progressive structural design experience for facilities of medium to large industrial and commercial buildings.
• Proficient in design of steel, concrete, prestressed concrete, timber and/or masonry.
• Working knowledge of the IBC codes and structural engineering applications (SAP, ETABS, STAAD, RAM Steel).
