Job summary

Kleinfelder seeks a Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of clients in the New England area, including municipal, state, federal, higher education and private industries. The role may be based in Boston, Worcester, Portland, Augusta, or Rocky Hill.

You will oversee design, calculations, and construction administration, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to meet budgets and deadlines while upholding client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; master's degree in structural engineering strongly desired.
• Licensed PE in the state of Massachusetts; additional licensing in CT, RI, NH, and ME preferred.
• 6–7 years of related experience; 3–4 years project-related experience; knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations; 1–2 years coordination/supervisory experience preferred.
• Progressive structural design experience, including engineering facilities of medium to large industrial and commercial buildings.
• Proficient in design of steel, concrete, prestressed concrete, timber and/or masonry.
• Working knowledge of the IBC codes and structural engineering applications (SAP, ETABS, STAAD, RAM Steel).

This position may be based in any of the following locations: Boston, MA, Worcester, MA, Portland or Augusta, ME or Rocky Hill, CT.

The expected salary range for the position is displayedin accordance withthe Massachusetts Wage Transparency Act. Finalagreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.Salary range: $102,341-$187,959.
