Job summary

Enginuity Advantage, LLC is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing structural team. You will lead design efforts for industrial and commercial projects, act as the primary engineer, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with clients and other disciplines.

You will have opportunities for business development and potential progression into a Structural Group Manager role, with travel limited to local site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
• PE license and SE license (required).
• 6+ years of structural engineering experience in commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong technical design skills and ability to lead projects independently.
• Experience with project management and client coordination.
• Strong verbal and written communication for internal collaboration and client interaction.
• Interest in growing into a leadership role (Structural Group Manager).

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design efforts for industrial and commercial projects.
• Serve as the primary engineer on projects, managing technical design and coordination.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Engage in project management (10%+ of the role, with potential for more based on experience).
• Maintain strong relationships with repeat clients while being open to business development opportunities.
• Ensure that all projects meet QA standards and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with other disciplines as needed.
• Potential local travel within a few-hour radius for site visits.
