Job summary

US Army Corps of Engineers in Minnesota seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to plan, coordinate, and review structural engineering design and technical specifications for complex projects. You will resolve challenging engineering problems and guide design decisions while planning scope, schedule, and budget.

The role includes coordinating multidisciplinary teams and providing technical guidance to management and AE firms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in professional engineering (ABET-accredited or equivalent).
• Ability to evaluate/resolve complex structural design and review technical specifications.
• Professional registration (EI/EIT) or PE licensure, or path to licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, prepare and review structural engineering designs and specs.
• Resolve complex engineering problems and make decisions on design features.
• Lead/planning for project scope, schedule and budget as Senior Structural Engineer.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary aspects of assigned projects and input to the Project Management Plan.
• Provide technical advice to management, district personnel and AE firms.
