Job summary

Actalent in Westerville, OH is seeking a Structural Engineer (PE) to lead the Columbus office's Structural Engineering practice, driving project delivery and team growth while mentoring staff.

The role requires a PE license, a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 12+ years of experience in industrial facilities, and proficiency with STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. Onsite leadership and client development are key components.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis or BS in Structural Engineering.
• PE license required; able to obtain Ohio PE within six months if licensed elsewhere.
• Minimum 12 years of progressively responsible structural engineering experience.
• Experience leading structural projects in power generation, electric transmission & distribution, or industrial facilities.
• Experience as lead engineer, discipline lead, or engineering manager on multidisciplinary projects.
• Proficiency with STAAD.Pro and BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
• Strong knowledge of AISC, ACI, ASCE, IBC and related industrial standards.
